This is the Ronstadt House. Painted on location in Downtown Tucson. A formidable structure, reminds me of a fortress with awnings, more than a house.
Just a simple oil sketch of an old store front, dating back to 1904. Rumor has it, this was one of the first locations of Andy Rush's infamous, The Drawing Studio. Painted on location in the Armory Park neighborhood, Tucson, AZ. My friend Jet brought me a beer in a brown bag while I was painting, and that is what made this a great painting!
